«Thanks for the comments Law I appreciate them! I agree with you on the sound after watching it back again there needed to be at the least some ambient sound. But that's how I learn, thanks for pointing it out. No worries about the Thumbs Down, I make these mini films because I enjoy it and it gives me something to do in my retirement. Thanks for watching.»
«Thanks for watching and commenting the biz! I appreciate the feedback. I was really trying hard to make the bounty hunter seem really cold and unfeeling so I'm glad that came through. I also agree with you about the saloon girl at the end. I had a different character to begin with but it looked terrible in the closeups so I made a last minute change. I should have taken a little longer in her design but I was really ready to wrap this one up. Thanks.»
«Thanks for watching Law I appreciate it. I know what you mean about the silence in the ranch scene. I really struggle a lot when it comes to the music although I think I'm improving a little. No worry about the rating I post them to share with people who enjoy these short animations and hopefully get some feedback to help me improve. It's what I enjoying doing in my spare time since retiring. Thanks for the positive feedback.»
«Finally got around to watching this, and I think in terms of production this is your best film yet! Characters, sets and sounds have a lot more attention paid to their detail. Voice over performances were at their best, seeing a lot of improvement in that department here. Only notable complaint I have is sometimes there's a lack of sound, which can be effective, but not in one spot in particular that stood out to me. When Isaiah returned home, the only sound was the door, his footsteps and everyone's voices. I think there should some sort of ambience and/or dramatic music to fill the silence when Isaiah hugged his daughters or when there was a slightly long pause in dialogue. But that's just my two cents, no one else seemed to be bothered by that, and that's not to say that it really hindered my enjoyment of the film at all, I thoroughly enjoyed this! That bounty hunter was careless and cold, as Biz said the nighttime campfire scene cemented that fact, and it satisfying seeing him get what he deserved! Isaiah was a likeable hero as well, but definitely not someone to cross!
Again, really sorry about accidentally thumbing this down a couple days ago from my mobile. I was just going look at the comments at the time, and add this to my watch later, but the screen wasn't done loading and moved at that last second and made me click thumbs down... but now I'm on my computer so I thumbed it up! Now it's closer to the score it deserves. You should really be able to reverse your scores once you make them, in case of a mistake. In fact I think the star rating should make a comeback, I just think it's a more accurate way to rate something. I think this about 4 stars worthy, but all I can do is thumb it up, like or dislike. That could mean 4 stars, 3 stars etc. But you know, that's a whole other topic for another time and another place.
Great work again Greg, look forward to another great movie from you! In fact, watching this reminded me that I haven't watched your Christmas Carol adaption yet, I intended to. Will check that out as soon as possible!»
«Impressive work as always Greg. That bounty hunter was a cold hearted man (as shown in that nighttime campfire scene - very effective). I thought the CC characters looked much improved over the older models and they seemed to express facial emotions much better. The only real hangup for me was the stepford wives look of the lady under the gun in that last shootout scene. Sound design was a real standout that had me thinking about how much effort went into it. Great work!.»
