«Great story Particularily effective scream! »
Prince Logan and the Dragon
«This was a most appropriate format for an entry into a storytelling contest. Since the mandatory opening lines must be "Once upon a time..." this bedtime tale is a natural fit. The still shots framed in a book format was a nice touch as well. Of course if the entire tale was told with only stationary photos, it would become more of a virtual novel rather than a true movie, so I was expecting some moving pictures as well, and was not disappointed when the "live" dragon made his appearances. In regards to the criteria for the contest, the plot was very clearly presented, though simple, and the characters well-portrayed, but due to the brevity of the piece did not allow much development of our hero or his mother. Nevertheless, this was a fun tale, created by a family obviously having loads of fun creating and sharing their visions. Dulci's narration was superb, as always, and the brief cameo by her son a cute surprise. May they live happily ever after. »
«A really good idea for a movie Dulci:-D
Quite an enjoyable little bedtime type of story:-)
I love the way you presented it,with pictures and 'live' action interspersed throughout on the pages of the book.
Something like this would have been nice when I was a little kid,if someone with your nice way of reading stories had done that for me...
...but nobody read me bedtime stories when I was a kid:-(
I guess that's why I degenerated into reading Mad and Cracked magazine for myself instead...and look what happened to me because of it hahhaaha!:-p
That about sums up my dysfunctional childhood lol
Sorry,I'm rambling again...
Good fun stuff Dulci:-)
«There I was watching this fantastic, enchanting little movie, when suddenly out of nowhere, comes the fiercest, loudest scream I've ever heard. I'm not fibbing if I didn't jump out of my skin and hit the ceiling. What a great little actor your son is.
Hurrah for Prince Logan and good luck in the competition.»
«This was a great entry into the storyteller contest with a fine mixture of narrative and visual expression. I liked the book effect you used for transitional scenes, coupled with live animation, which worked very well. Despite some volume irregularities, I enjoyed this wholeheartedly and wish you the best for the competition!!»
