«You seem to have a little Lynch and Cronenberg in there with you eh Riot? Having read Mac's comment before making my own I will say I think the story stated takes a back seat to the idea and the story implied all to excellent effect. Visuals were bubble gum fresh and razor sharp. The wicked was spot on. One of my favorite things I've seen from you.»
«Wow, nice work Riott! Sorry it's taken me so long to get around to seeing this.. I really liked the way you blended the music in to fit the visuals and the overall dreamlike feel worked well. I liked the fact that it was so weird and different and packed with various little hints beneath the surface as opposed to a simple conventional story.

As a minor negative I would say that although I really loved how much imagery and symbolism you used, I personally thought at times it became overpowering and took some of the attention away from the story itself (the merry-go-round, for example). Because I was concentrating on what the imagery meant since it was so prominent, some of the story was lost on me on first viewing.
As a suggestion I would say maybe take a less aggressive approach with the symbolism and don't have it in the viewer's face so much? I'm not saying remove the symbolism, just maybe show it in a more subtle way so that more observant viewers can still find the meaning behind it whilst others watching at face value will not be turned off by not being able to understand.
Of course although I think the movie is great as it is, and I get that it's an arty film and not meant for a mainstream sort of audience, I just think as you've submitted it to several contests it might help you to try and make it more accessible to a wider audience otherwise I think there's a risk judges won't understand it and will be turned off by it.
Overall I think this was an excellent piece and although I haven't seen all the entries to either of the contests I can pretty much guarantee this will be one of the more haunting and thought-provoking pieces to come out of them
***** - 5 stars»
«A very surreal journey that makes you wonder what our minds are capable of.
Nicely done.»
«Okay. I've seen this movie 4 times now. That at least deserves a 2nd comment.
It's going to take me a few more times to catch everything.
It's an addictive piece, that's for sure. Can I give it another 5 stars?»

«Excellent work Riott...the stuff of dreams and nightmares presented here in a beautiful twisted package.
Some fantastic editing, sound and visuals work and as Chris commented, it's great to hear Sisch and Norrie back in the VA saddle again.
Outstanding...best of luck in the contest:-)»

«Beautiful and disturbing. Really well done! So many layers, both visual and psychological.»
«Whoaa!! What the fuck? That was something special, something unexpected, something real and most unreal. I loved it for a lot of reasons, awesome look to it, it really stands out,
great audio, great voice, seriously... this is seriously good shit on so many levels.
Good luck with the contests too.
bravo you three.»
«I've said it in the past and I'll continue to say it. Riott is an artist.
I don't rate films unless I can give a 5 star smack.
Why does this film impress me? Because it is an intense, straaaange, beautiful journey into I know not where, but the trip is fascinating, enchanting and disturbing. I will watch it again, and perhaps again (most likely). I don't care about the symbology in this one - the trip is mesmerising and transports you to a weird conclusion you feel compelled to decipher on your own.
Love this stuff!!»
«aint that the berries... i really enjoyed this one riott or should i say veruca vandyke?»
