«Part 2 contnues with some great use of facial animations and expressions. They compliment the dialogue and voice acting well.
The script is once again hilarious, the punchlines and comedic moments are sharp and keep the viewer entertained throughout. Great pacing and use of background music wrap things up really well.
I'm liking this collab between you and mac, which is pure magic! I look forward to seeing more content from the both of you.
Holy Penetration!!!....Its been a while since I've watched anything but I'm glad this was the first thing to ease me back into TMU!!!
«Awesome Chris, just awesome. You're doing such a good job on this, it's great to see the script come to life lol. The voice acting was great once again, everyone did a fantastic job with their roles. Johnny's laugh cracked me up lol. Great set design as well, I especially liked the bat cave, and the music fit the scenes perfectly. I really liked the timing in a lot of the scenes too, in particular the "clue" scene. I thought the direction there was absolutely perfect. Yeah occasionally there were VOs cut off at the end and the timing wasn't quite right in some places in the Gordon scene, but overall it was really well done. I do agree with Mefune that perhaps when there was no music it really brought out the fact that you needed a little more ambience but really it didn't take anything away from an enjoyable experience. Great work Chris
I adore k4's Joker and Johnny's Riddler. Talk about nailing a role. You can tell when an actor really gets into the character and has a blast doing it. Fantastic "evil laughing" from both actors as well.
Mac's script is hilarious. Like the first installment, I laughed when I read the lines and laughed when I heard them being performed. My favorite part about the script is the original absurdity of it all. Not much of "your typical Batman shtick" going on. Very cool.
The sets were impressive. The Batnmobile, Bat Cave and the warehouse were all pretty cool. I especially liked the torture chairs.
I liked the Batmobile and saw sounds, but I would liked to have seen more emphasis on sound design. Each set/scene seemed to lack ambiance.
As an anal stickler for editing, I still think some of the jokes/writing lose out due to lose editing. Some of the lines were supposed to be cut off by another character speaking, but instead of being cut off, the dialog abruptly ends - a pause - then the other character speaks. There are other awkward pauses between lines that dulled the comedic timing for me. The sudden appearance of Riddler in front of Batman threw me a bit as well. Although this part of the movie was much more tighter in editing than the first.
I dig the jazzy groove during Robin's "thinking out loud" bit. Great choice.
Not being a huge fan of iclone animation, I have to say certain movements had my attention. The "investigation slow stepping" from Batman & Robin in the warehouse, for instance, was great and had me smiling. Reminded me of the TV show. Some of the facial movements also worked well with the dialog.
Overall, I laughed out loud and I was entertained. -What more can you ask for?
«Holy Mortadella! No wait. That doesn't sound quite right.
Too many giggles. Loved the gravy based narration bit and the towel riddle gags especially. Oh, and the Batman Forever line Johnny & K4 were a great double act. I didn't recognise either of them.
I remember watching TDK and thinking: "what the f*%k is all the fuss about?" This is so much better than that pile of shite.»
«Taking Bat's words, "This is freakin' awesome!" »
