«Thanks for posting this. I don't care if anyone is for or against the wars, I am just glad to see people showing respect for those who died doing what was asked of them. Some are over there doing what is needed and may not want to be there but they do their job. We, as individuals should at the very least respect them for doing what many don't want to.
I have lost many friends over the years that I served with, fortunately none to combat. My son last many friends in Iraq and the experience changed him. Once again, thanks for posting this PK.»

Description: On January 22, 2011, hundreds came out to pay respects to a local fallen hero, who was one of three victims in an attack on US troops. The attendance was high, not just because he had touched that many lives, but support was generated for him in hopes to counteract the alleged advent of the infamous Westboro Baptist Church. In the end, it was great to see so many come out in support for the family, some of which, like myself, have never even met him, but hearing everyone's stories and testaments to his legacy can prove to be inspirational to all who can respect him as a human, a soldier, and a warrior. Rest in peace, sir. Wherever you are, you deserve it.
