«That.. was unbelievably good... I loved the dark and moody look you gave this and the 47 minutes went by surprisingly quickly. The voice acting sounded great from what I could tell and your musical cues were well considered and timed to perfection. I was also very impressed with your character designs. There's only so much you can do with Starmaker but you managed to make each character look fresh and unique. I don't agree with DKelso about the character motions, I think every software has its issues in that sense and if we can look past the robotic character movements inherent in most other machinima programmes then we can also look past the overly dramatic movements in The Movies. I actually felt like you used some of the game's limitations to your advantage very cleverly and, being familiar with The Movies myself, there were certain scenes that I would never have imagined being used the way you used them, but it totally worked so well done! I really wish YouTube could have translated the subtitles better as I feel like I only caught bits and pieces of the story and couldn't appreciate the writing properly, but it really didn't hinder my enjoyment of this excellent film. I'm so glad someone is still around using The Movies to such great effect and proving that over ten years later, in the right hands, it still stands up remarkably well as a moviemaking tool against some far more expensive and advanced animation programmes. Superb work sir

«Some great cinematic qualities in this video. I feel that you got let down by the character motions of the software, but if one looks past that, than it's nearly perfectly done.»
«Dark and gorgeous, very well done.»
«The pacing, editing, sound, music, direction - all professional looking. If this were a film, it would be a blockbuster. Xlnt job!»
«This is so good! I'm still watching (on YouTube with subtitles) but couldn't wait to comment and say how well finished this movie looks!
