«This gets better everytime I watch it. Bravo Biz.»
«A great tour around Coney Island, in search of life's answers.
Great movie, well written, edited and a great music and cast. I always thought GP was the devil. I would've like to have seen more freaks. Where's The Freaks? Sorry if I sound like that old bag in the Wendy's Commercial. Is it me or do all carney folk look and sound alike? So many questions with no answers. I prefer to get life advise from a fortune cookie.
«If you don't mind me saying, that was weird and a half. I cannot even begin to explain what that was all about and I'm not even going to try. What I do know is, I enjoyed it immensely.
I loved the background imagery you used in this movie, along with the kids TV show at the start and 2D animated train. Brilliant.
Great acting by all involved. The music great too and suited the vibe of the movie.
In all, a wonderful piece of work. Just don't ask me to explain it.»
«What a trip! This classic film has all the makings of vintage bizness, from the weird freaks and non-freaks to the wonderfully snappy and intricate dialogue bandied about by these characters. The various subtle details and nuances of the always unique Coney Island is portrayed perfectly by the various black and white snapshots and the great, realistic backrounds. The voice acting is great, and goofparade makes the most out of his great freakish-satan lifeforce-soundwavy pilisophical-lite monologue. MrsBiz, Jase, you, and Kwistufa (playing to hilarious effect all the wacky salesemen on Coney) contribute great performances, although the sound quality is just slightly off-balance. The plot is absolutely unique, seemingly going nowhere and turning on itself yet it reaches a most interesting destination. The various locales of Coney Island are elaborately recreated to great effect; I would love to visit the Shoot a Freak, and go see the Freak show, ride the really dangerous bumper cars and live the rest of my life on Coney Island. And don't get me started on that mind-blowing colorful musical extravaganza final near the end! Great music, great writing, great performances, great everything! This is top-tier bizarreness, high enjoyable stuff.»
«Terrific as usual. I always dig your films dude and this one was no exception. The backgrounds were really cool, nobody does that like thebiz. The original score and cast were also fantastic. Great mods by the best in the bizness. Weird and wild stuff here biz, I loved it, great work sir.»
«Hey I saw Kwistufa's Giorgio's Snack Shack haha
Shoot the Freak lol!
Damn now those bumper-cars were way more dangerous than the electric ones I remember, although thinking back I'm surprised nobody ever got electrocuted haha...
Very cool use of sets, backdrops, and overlays, especially the cheesey custom cartoons, which are always a treat(the crappy tv kid's show heehee)
A great mixture of all those elements and very well done VO,not to mention your usual unusual weirdly weird unstory storylines haha...in-depth and out-depth all-rolled into one unwrapped package of wrapped unwrappings hahaha:-D»
«The Biz gives us the Biz once again.
Anyone not versed in the art of backgrounds should see this flick. This narrative is indicative of The Biz' world which leads us into a maze of Bizanimations, banter and beer that never disapoints. I really enjoyed every character and every bit of music.
I wish I could own this for my very own in high quality.»
«That was a fantastic film! It surely comes packaged individually from the rest of the genres on the shelf. Throughout the production we are wildly entertained by humorous dialog, vivid characters, and made to feel transported by the sequences of the marvelous scenery provided to the Coney Island walkways. The air of the film rides the rail between the half-normalcy of two inner-city dweller's off-beat discussions and the bizarro world of the inner workings of the life of carnies..... and they only creep me out slightly less than clowns. I used to think "biz" stood for business and now it it clearly understood it is for "bizarre". Films like these are to be cherished. Keep up the great work.»
«That was indeed a strange little flick Biz, Surreal and Mysterious is the words to describe it.
I loved it, the set dressing, modding...especially the bumper cars, that was great...some great Voice Acting, especially from Goof at the end there. and the animations blending in were awesome as well...
***** - 5 Stars!»
«I fear my comments on your films amount to roughly the same every time - but I can't help it, I just love your crazy, unique surrealistic style, it wows me every time!
Loved the sights and sounds, the dialogue, the animations, the backdrops - it's like eating icecream blindfolded; a new flavour with every bite, always a surprise and always delicious, and as always, leaving me wanting more!»
«Off the wall, off kilter and off the chart... classic TB-ness
Excellent surreality trip that benefits from more than one viewing to catch all the strangeness; I loved Carnivale, and I love this Phenomenal wierdness and entertainment, well slotted into the bizarre world it reflects.
Definately worth anyones hard earned dollar »
«One thing that is ALWAYS guaranteed from your movies is your creative use of backdrops and overlays whilst immersing us into a great story with memorable characters . Whitefish is no exception and provides many uniquely funny moments.
Can't wait for your next production as always!!
«Trippy! Great casting - these guys (and lady) played their roles very well. So much originality here - I kept thinking ooo haven't seen that before! As always with your work, I'm left contemplating and pondering and all that jazz, and, most importantly, ready to watch it over and over and over and over again...»
«Very much worth the wait - strange, funny, and clever all mixed together.
Terrific use of backdrops to capture the feel of Coney Island, outstanding performances from all of the actors involved - it captures the oddness that is (or was) Coney Island - haven't been there in 20 years, but a lot of it was familiar...
And I definitely remember those fortune telling machines.»
«What a wild n odd trip down to Coney Island that was...
Loved it.. in all its glorious weirdness.
The Satan show was awesome. So were all the BG's.
Dialogue was bent & the other VA's all did an awesome job.
Really liked the music too. Well worth the wait.
Enjoyed the Animated Train & TV as well.
