Description:
A Russian mercenary is hired by an unknown Ukrainian syndicate to investigate and handle increased police pressure on its import/export racket.
My first experience using GTA4's Video Editor, that's my excuse and I'm sticking by it. Nevermind, experience is a bad term- more like first video I felt like half finishing.
«I could never get enough out of GTA IV's video editor. Amazing editing, post, music, and pacing. Looks exceptionally awesome! Loving all the custom stuff! Make more!»
«outstanding. I'm speachless. just perfect!!!!!»
«Pretty cool, some awesome footage from GTA IV. I need to learn how to use that video editor myself, seem like you could have a lot of fun with it.»
«I dug the donut-laden cops.
GTA certainly has got their details ironed out.

«Wow really nice! I love gta IV!»
«First rate editing. Shaky cam could use work though, sometimes seems too self consciously used.»
«What a very entertaining short movie!»
«Very, very cool. Well done!
Could you make a movie with an obvious storyline sometime? Your nack for action, with a great storyline would be a great mix.»
«Nice work B6.
Looking forward to collaborating again..heh»
«Actiony. The keyboard control car was a bit distracting (once Cape mentioned it hehe). Pretty cool stuff.»
« That was pretty cool, didn't understand a word but who needs dialogue for good F*~N action!»
«Brilliant, other then the keyboard car controls

«Wow, very good.. This was very cinematic and the editing was top-notch. The sound editing was the feature of this that really stood out for me. I loved how the gunshots coming from the left side of the screen only came through the left speaker, and vice versa. The 'crunch' effects were also wierdly satisfying when the bullets found their targets, as were the blood effects. I think you also did very well using the GTA software as I know the limitations and that it can be difficult to rid the footage of that "in-game" feel. I think you made a very good job of creating that elusive cinematic atmosphere.

I spotted a couple of slight problems. One was that the phone the guy is holding at the begining looks as if it has a hole where the screen should be. Not a massive issue but just something I noticed. Also at times the shaky-cam seemed a little too much, mainly in close-ups, it was noticeable that the camera was shaking about a lot and maybe it could possibly have been toned down a shade. I can understand why the technique was used though and that's just my opinion, obviously somebody else may feel differently. Another very slight thing was the driving sequence at the start. The car seemed to me to turn a little unnaturally and could possibly have been smoother. Again though, that's just a little thing and I wouldn't worry about it too much.
Overall this was a very professional and cinematic action-based short film which had me hooked from start to finish. The sound editing was excellent as I said and as always the visuals were outstanding. Now I really would love to see you take your skills and use them to make a longer movie. Your direction is fantastic and I have no doubt that anything longer that you decided to direct would be extremely well recieved here

«Очень круто сделано. Отличный монтаж и работа камеры. Натуральное кино получилось. Опять же, приятно, что русскоязычные ролики начинают появляться и на TMU
Удачи!»

«Very good short nice work with GTA4 engine great sound and editing.»
«Outstanding stuff sir.
As D.L said, I didn't want it to end at all. Your first try with this engine? .. wow! I can't wait to see more of this. It seems to be well suited to your style which is always a good thing. These certainly are good times.

«Simply Amazing. I didn't want it to end.
Look forward to future work. »
«If this is your first experience, I can't wait until you have a firm handle on the engine. Very cinematic work.»
«You've got nothing to excuse yourself for, this is amazing stuff! It will be criminal if you don't make a feature with this engine.»
