«Very cool Chris!»
«I am so glad I found time to sit and watch your Dracula film you spent the last couple of months telling me about! What an achievement! I can't possibly fathom having the technical know-how to accomplish what you have done in iClone. The script by yourself and Shirley was simply exquisite. There was so much TLC that went into that, and it showed in the end result. Just a beautiful and strong virtual interpretation of a classic. My hat is off to you!
Just 1 thing! The score you used in the opening was not by Hans Zimmer! The score to Coppola's Dracula was composed by Wojciech Kilar, a lesser known polish composer. Coppola's "Dracula" was his English-Language Film debut. He had only composed foreign films before then. I only know because I collect film scores and study different composers and techniques! Just FYI!
«Well a job is a job. Say "Frau Blucher"! Just a few coffins, Bwa! Bwa Ha! Bwa Ha Ha! The Bat transformation was cool! "He's a prince, see? His picture is on this transylvanian currency." "Gaze at the swinging watch... forget.... forget" "Ah, I see, right here, two vampire marks." "Don't knock this death thing until you give it a try, maybe... you will like it." "Look, it's either me or the vampire!" Transylvania airlines, the only way to travel! "By bat!" "Scrumshus!"
Great movie. 5 stars.»
«I know you've had this one simmering away in that furnace of a mind of yours for a looooonnnggg time, and I'm glad you and Shirley got together and got it made!
Great fun (especially good fun watching it with all the other "horrophiles" on Sunday night at TMUTheatre), some really nice chromakey work (especially loved the bat transformation) and some well pitched performances from the cast (well, except that guy channelling Antony Hopkins; what a ham!).
More evidence that you continue to tame iClone and make it sit up and beg as time goes on. Great stuff to watch in a darkened room with a bag of popcorn »
«Great job. I loved how you started the movie with a small prequel and ended it in the future. I also liked the creepy atmosphere you managed to create. I'm not too familiar with iClone (This is iClone right?) but some of the animations or movements of the characters could have been better. Other than that, great job. 5 stars.»
«Really enjoyed that Chris, you did a great job of putting all this together, and in such a short time. You really are a moviemaking machine lol. The story was brilliant, especially the dialogue. You and Shirley made a great team with the writing. I really enjoyed all the performances too. I never would have thought you would fit the role of Dracula but you nailed it lol. Some of the effects work was superb and the music choices were awesome. I really loved the modern day twist on the ending and just generally the epic scale of it all. I think maybe one or two of the scenes could have done with a bit more background sounds or music and at times the animations were a little bit wooden (though Shirley falling over was by far the funniest moment of the halloween fest so I'm not complaining lol).
Overall you did so well to get this all put together and released on time, with the quality as high as it is too. This is definitely one of your best films Chris, I guess halloween brings out the best in you lol

«Really loved this film Dracula is such a great choice to do and did a really good job. It kept my attention the whole time except the detective guy he really sucked. You and Shirley are a great team and I look forward to seeing what else u guys come up with
«I really liked the atmosphere in this. Out of all the movies on the Halloween Fest this was the one that felt most "Halloween"ish for me.
An epic story, very hard to shoot, but you managed to capture it very nicely. The script was solid, and the acting performances worked.
Very Good job!»
«What a massive undertaking! I'm so impressed with what you've done! The Voice acting and the sound editing are so well done! I would have love to have more music in the background in some scenes, I thought it could add tension and help pace. But considering the time constraint and what you had to work with, it was spectacular! Congrats... I particularly love the use of wide shots in the outside scenes, and the use of light was also really cool in the scene at at 16.33. Very Nice!»
