«I agree with simpsdog. The lack of direct continuity made the film seem more like a montage than an actual film. The cliche usage of scenes did the film little justice and the poor translations are incomprehendable but the visual quality kept me watching. 3/5»
Storm the germans
«Like the last video, it's very inaccurate. Some of the uniforms and choice of weapons do not match at all; M-16s were used in later Vietnam... not in World War 2.
Average war flick; you should take more time with it, especially the research. I'll have to go with this one, 'Storm the Germans,' as the better of the two.
Like I said in the last video; there's a lot of potential in making a good war flick with this software. It just takes time and patience. There's modding sites, like 8 eyed baby or DCMF, that provide some important mods.
Keep going at it,
«that was funny at 3:35 "Nicht scheisen! (Don't shoot!)"
never ever use google translate or whatever for translating stuff for a movie. go to the TMU board and ask for a german dude like me, i would help out everybody to translate stuff, as i did before.
by the way: Nicht scheisen = Nicht scheissen = in english - don't shit... u see, it doesnt make sense. Don't shoot = Nicht schießen or Nicht schiessen.
but i liked the sound effects.»
«You have the 'American' characters dressed up as BRITISH soldier from the FIRST WORLD WAR! You gave everyone the M16 machine gun which wasn't even around until Cold War era and a modern radio. But, I'm not trying to be harsh. The story was ok, if not a little predictable. This an early video and it normally takes time to make a war film that's accurate for the era. Still, I have seen FAR WORSE. Seriously.
