Description:
It's the late 1970s, and the assistant manager of struggling second division side Chapelside FC recounts the tale of the club's dramatic recovery after nearly going bust. But soon the finger of suspicion points to Harry Connor, the team manager who has had no previous experience. Why is the team so successful, and what is really going on?
«I haven't seen any story driven football machinima before on the site or anywhere else before so this certainly has pushed the boat out there. The set dressing looked great and the music fitted the 70s setting very well, plus great work from the cast. I enjoyed the cel-shaded style with the combination of dutch angles which gave it the look of an old Roy of the Rovers comic book.
The film shoots, and scores.»
«Excellent on so many levels! Great looking and brilliant audio with the VO, music and sound effects. I loved it as Sports movies are so rare. Well done! »
«excellent! love the cell shading look»

«Very, very good. The sound was great. The look was good as well. Different from where you've gone and I much appreciates. Innovative, fun, cool. You are one of the few folks that I say, An IceAxe flick is an event.

«Great little flick. Not knowing the story I wasn't sure exactly where it was going and your telling of the tale was really enjoyable. The staging of the scenes was just outstanding. I particularly liked the car rear view mirror scene and the team tunnel scene with the light iluminating the players. The sound design for that scene in particular was fanastic as well and solid throughout the entire film. You always manage to make Moviestorm look great and the cell shading choice worked wel for this film. »
«Very well put together story. Never knew anyone had that kind of money for bribes.»
«Pretty interesting stuff. It's not often that we see films based on real life events on TMU, so this was quite a surprise.
Never was a huge soccer fan, but I found the story interesting nonetheless. Good job on the writing. The direction was good as well, though I felt that you used Dutch Angles a bit too often.
The acting was rather good - the performers brought the characters to life convincingly. Overall, this was a well made piece of work with an interesting story.
