I know you’re wondering who I am talking about so I’ll Spill the beans. Tom is my adoptive father, He’s kind and considerate, but I hate when he wakes me up. Today is the day Vincent and I are going to camp out in the forest. Vincent is my best friend; we have been friends since childhood. When we were children we would always venture into the forest on our horses, and explore the great unknown. Even till this day we still do the same, I think of it as a tradition. I have feelings for Vincent, but I keep them to myself. I know that these feelings could destroy our friendship, so this is why I keep them deep inside of my heart. I wish I knew more about my biological family, Tom never speaks of them, and my adoptive mother passed away when I was 3. Emily, you’d better hurry up and get ready, Vincent will be here soon. I know this, but he doesn’t seem to get it. I begin to strip off my clothes, and then I step into the washtub. I rinse the grime off of my body, and I wash my long, light blonde hair. Then I dry off, and brush my hair. I look in the mirror and can see my golden yellow eyes, I hear a knock on the door, it must be Vincent. I begin to gather my belongings for the camping trip. I retrieve my sword, torch and camping gear, and store it in my rucksack. I hear someone knocking on my bedroom door, it is Vincent and Tom. Before you depart, there is something I must give you two, “says Tom”, Take these bow and arrows you need something effective to hunt with. I think we should leave now. Chapter 2: The forest Vincent and I mount our horses and depart for the forest. It soon begins to rain, and the journey becomes difficult, but it doesn’t stop us. Once we get there I began to set up the campsite, and I start a fire. It soon stops raining, but it is still cold. I notice something different about the forest. I see an unusual path that leads to an unknown place. I get a strange feeling inside of me; the feeling is cold, as if strange things are soon to come. I decide to confront Vincent and discuss these matters. Vincent, there is something we must discuss. Over there, I point to the path? Was that ever there? No, he says. Isn’t it strange I say? I think we should investigate it, I mean paths don’t just appear out of thin air. I think we should, Vincent says. It could be fate, but I think we should get some sleep first. About an hour later Vincent and I gather our belongings, and head towards the path on our horses. Along the way something, bad happens. Our horses get startled and run off past the path and we have no choice but to go on feet. I can hear a rustling in the bushes, Vincent did you hear that? We are not alone, He says. Let’s just hurry; I knew this was a bad idea. We walk onto the path, and I can see big yellow eyes in the distance. I equip an arrow and aim for the eyes, and I can hear the splatter of blood. It’s a wolf I hear it howl in pain, it must be calling for the pack. Vincent, run! What about you Emily, I’ll be fine, I’ll stay behind you I’ll try and hold them off. Vincent runs and I stay behind him, but there are too many wolves to hold off. I can see Vincent up ahead, a wolf attacks him and rips off a piece of meat from his arm, I shoot the wolf with an arrow killing it. Emily he says, but before he can finish the sentence he falls to the floor. The wolf comes towards me and I run towards Vincent, I can see a cabin up ahead. Then that is when I am attacked by one of the wolves. I am in great pain as the wolf bites into my arm. Before I fall unconscious I can see a figure up at the door of the cabin and a dog. That is the last thing I see before everything turns to black. The Figure is a woman and her dog, Could it be she says. She waits until the wolves retreats to examine the wounded friends. Chapter 3: The Prophecy I am having a nightmare. Vincent is getting attacked by the wolves, they rip limb after limb off of him and he gets killed. Everything fades into view, I am in an unfamiliar environment. I then recall what last happened to Vincent and panic. Vincent, No! I am in tears, I feel weak, useless and pathetic. The old woman comes into the room and says, don’t worry he’s fine he’s still resting. I’m sorry; may I ask who you are? You can call me Ms. Iceheart dear, don’t worry I’m not a vampire I don’t bite. I look around and I spot Vincent, at once he awakens. Emily, he yells, Vincent I shout. At once we run into each other’s arms and embrace. Vincent Thank
