«Man, my apologies for a late reply.
Like others have said, it has a really cool Tarantino vibe, and I dig that. Your camera work is phenomenal. Your editing is top notch, the script is great. Excellent VO work.
Good stuff, Ryan. »

«Normally this type of film isn't my cup of tea, but I have to admit to quite enjoying this. Crime dramas are usually a hit or miss kind of thing for me, and obviously this one hit its target.
At first (during the first few minutes) I thought the dialogue was a bit heavy handed. It didn't come across as natural. But either it improved, or I got used to it, or it did, indeed, fit and I hadn't realized it at first, because it was in many ways the best part of the film. I think ultimately that it kept the film on a higher level than most of the other crime dramas of this ilk that I've seen before. A job well done.
Voice acting was pretty darn good, too. A strong cast helps a lot!
The music worked well, too, though at times it almost worked against the film. But overall, the pieces were well chosen, well edited and well placed. (And I got a good chuckle reading the end credits and "Please don't sue me"... lol)
As I've said many times before, it's a testament to how good a (longer) film is to how quickly the time flies. And for a 1/2 hour flick, I didn't feel it dragged at all. So the pacing was good, the editing tight in the right places and the subject matter entertaining. And that's the real thing I look for at the end of the day: entertainment. And I was entertained.
« I didn't think Michael Barnes had competition but this is very good, good story, action, editing, the music fit perfect, camera work, the cast, great use of modds, don't know what else to say other than "Holly Shit This Movie Rocks", sorry but it really rocks! And Smokestir 13 is right but it looked more to me to Resevoir Dogs than Pulp Fiction thou.»
«Good job FT!! The story was good and the music was good too.
The cast did a great job! Nice job on the camerawork. This film did reminded me of a movie call Pulp Fiction by Quentin Tarantino. The style was almost the same. Alright till next time,Peace out and Rock on!! Oh yes Bravo!!
«This was fantastic FT, really well done like a professional. There was also some great camera angles and quick snap editing between some of the shots that I really liked. Also some nice work from the cast! Anyway, overall a really great action drama which was worth the wait! Well done FT!

«Well I'd have to say that other than a few awkward bits of dialogue and a couple shots that lingered on too long (Ken smoking his cigarette and a few driving shots stood out), this was a pretty impressive action drama. Filled, of course, with your trademark bad-ass camerawork and excellent music choices, and some superb VO work, I'd say this is one of your best films for sure.»
«Excellent work FT. The story was really good and I LOVED the ending with the parallel to an earlier conversation at the beginning. All the voice acting was brilliant other than me (apologies for the sound quality, I have no idea what happened there...). I especially liked Ken's menacing portrayal of the corrupt crime boss. Your use of dramatic irony was very well done. As always the sound design and music was pitch perfect and went a long way towards immersing me completely as a viewer. I really liked the way you made the music seem like it was always being played through a radio. Just added that bit more realism and grittiness. The visuals were great, though perhaps a little dark at times, and the pacing was perfect. I found one or two lines got a little wordy and sounded slightly awkward but otherwise there was nothing to take away from an absolutely fantastic production. All the work has definitely been worth it Ryan, congrats

«Wow Ryan, that was pretty awesome. I'm really glad you allowed me to be a part of it. Loved your editing and sound design, great use of sound across the board. Love the pacing as well. It was a solid crime drama, no doubt about it.
really I'm thrilled I was in it. You knocked out a really solid film my friend. Cheers to you for that.
I'll work for you anytime.»
«A solid 5-star production here FT, great piece of directing and superb work all round by everyone involved! The effort really shows, with great attention to detail. Was that really half an hour? Because it surely flew by! Well done on this fantastic achievement of a film, one to really be proud of! Top class work, I loved it! »
«Amazing great job, FT. I really liked it. The only problem I had was that it felt a little slow in some parts, and i think the reason for that was that there was a lot of silence with no music. But that doesn't really take away anything. This is a fine piece of work! »
