«Thanks for this, MrPoe, a fine insight into one of my favourite movies of the year. Very professionally done. I hope the original movie is being justly lauded for the marvel it was. That lifeboat scene was one of the great how-the-hell moments in machinima.»
Making of "Indiana Jones and the Gray Ghost"
«@Uber: Thank you, man!
@TINMAN: You're welcome! It's great fun tryig to figure out how to pull off certain scenes.
@kwistufa: The process could be a movie itself! And...yes she is!
@Nahton: Excellent! Repeat business!
@Doc Z: Thanks, Doc! I didn't make it for more views on the actual movie though. A lot of people ask me about how I did certain scenes, and what kind of mods would allow it. This making of is the best way to describe my process. I inspired Doc Z? Now that's a great compliment! Anyway, I've been working on this for about a year. To film it and put it all together took about 5 months, with a HUGE rush at the end to get it into the Expo on time.
@spyvspyaeon: Thanks! There's nothing special about Sony Vegas. Any editor with chromakey capability will do.
@chatNoir: You're very welcome!
@artorious: Anytime, sir!
@santurce_1975: Uh... ok dude, you're just being creepy at this point
«Awesome, that is some inventive use of Chroma-keying. I figured you used it for at lease some scenes but this was great to see how you've done. In fact, I've been using Chroma-keying (with Sony Vegas) for my latest few projects as well, it opens so many new doors to a limit bound game. Well done! I'll be sure to still rate your Indy movie as well. I'm sure that's also one of the reasons you made this
Thumbs up, you've inspired me. One question though, how long did it take to make that Indy movie in total?
