This was like "Silence of the Lambs" but with a kick! And what a kick it was! Dazzling effects. ..both visually and sonically, and with a truly disturbing flashback before that (must be something to do with the saturated colour effect).
Just wow ...
Like the first one, there was some uncredited music over the end credits - I don't like to see that and have knocked off a star accordingly. This would have scored 5. »
«What are you doing to me, Mefune? Two awesome horror shorts in succession. Yet both are TOO SHORT. I'm left wanting more, more MORE!
You are proving yourself a diverse movie maker that can master any genre you put your mind to (comedy, sci-fi, horror).
This one in particular tickles my fancy as it reminds me of The Keep and the eternal struggle of two immortal beings (good, evil , chaos, whatever they are). Loved it.
I really hope you decide to sit down and make something full length in this genre. It would be amazing...»
«Nice creation of location fitting us in that cellar of crazies. I tend to prefer the editing of the violent flashbacks to the japanese styled staredowns. Very nice effects in both though. I like the short idea. All the beef, none of the gristle. Wham! Bam! Thank you Maam!»
«I'm really digging these angel/demon shorts, and hope you eventually use them as your "teasers" for a larger project.
Again, great sound work and the visual effects were spectacular. Now if you'd just get some competent actors.... (uh-oh, I see Agravon beckoning to me....I wonder what that means....)»
«I say again...yikes! Yet another exciting short featuring some awesome visual effects. I noticed you recently changed the L.M.A.O. studios fanfare/theme, as well as the logo presentation itself. It's a lot darker and ominous now. May I suggest you also change your studio name from L.M.A.O. studios to S.M.A.O. studios (Scare My Arse Off)? »
