«Wow! That was pretty dam impressive. Maybe something was lost in the three scene version afterall. This was definitely a more intense viewing experience. I loved some of the camera angles you chose to shoot from. »
Grock and the Dark Czar - Revisited
«Amazing viewing this time with the one screen holding my complete attention. The way you used one continuous shot to create this is so effective and it completely cuts down on editing time! That worked so well.
Thanks for releasing the revisited version for ol' gigs like me that didn't feel the triple screen...
and well done!!»
«Wow... I loved it Biggs! Great camerawork to show the action (was that all one camera shot?) and some brilliant lighting effects. I loved how the lightning flashed occasionally, showing the details. The animation was extremely smooth. I honestly never would have guessed you made this using iClone. The sound effects were another high point for me. Loved the sickly thud as his hammer hit the ground and the clang of the blades as they collided. Very nicely done.
I agree with KV, the only real point to improve upon was that at times the action was a little difficult to see due to the camera angle at that particular moment. However, that is a very minor thing which in all honesty takes absolutely nothing away from this.
Overall, this is a beautiful example of how well iClone can be used to create battle scenes. I think iClone is perfect for this sort of genre and I'm surprised there aren't more people exploring the possibilities with the software. Well done Biggs on an awesome piece of machinima
