«I'm sorry but I really can't see this working as a full length film. This trailer dragged on for me and it was only 4 minutes. I found the editing and some of the camera work to be very distracting, along with some really poor animations. Poor editing aside, most of the humor fell flat for me, and I found the voice overs to be pretty annoying. Hopefully the full length movie works better than the trailer.»

«I look forward to see how this turns out, but to be honest, the trailer worries me a little. The animation is a little too blocky, and the voice of the main character could potentially be grating over the long run of a feature film. I applaud you for putting so much effort into this, but I hope that the main feature is better than the trailer. But damn, full-length? That's impressive.»
«The Phantom Says:
A full-length machinima movie is a difficult thing to pull off credibly. Difficult to sustain the interest, difficult to keep consistent and especially difficult on a technical level. Couple that with trying to combine two or more different engines to create a single, flawless whole and it becomes even more difficult.
The story, whilst in no way can it be considered new, is interesting enough, but there are some severe problems with the look of the piece.
Technically, this looks to me as if it is two movies put together and, in my opinion, not put together terribly well; the Moviestorm elements fail to mesh convincingly with the elements of iClone, both in terms of the character construction and the sets; the differences jar one out of the necessary suspension of disbelief too abruptly.
Some scenes look as if they will work well, but some others show a stunningly poor set construction (the textures on a couple of the rooms in what I presume are the iClone sequences are awful, it has to be said; stretched and entirely false looking; I certainly would not want wallpaper like that on my walls).
The animation also looked stilted in places; one in particular struck me where the main character seemed to taken an age to reach up and grab a door handle; not good in a project vaunted of this magnitude. As has been pointed out in various places, iClone animation suffers from an immediate impact of “not enough time and thought given over to making them fluid” if, indeed, the time and thought is not used and here especially, I have to say, it seemed that this was the case.
Volume levels on the various performances seemed to be unlevelled; some loud, some almost too quiet to hear. The credit screen looked a little too basic; I am hoping more care is taken with this in the final version.
An ambitious project, to be sure, but one I feel is teetering on the edge of being either very well done, or potentially a disaster waiting to happen.
The Phantom says: a 3 on current showing; potentially could be very good, but based on the current work in progress, it could come out badly.»
«I'm glad to finally get a sneak peek at this epic-in-the-making (other than that teaser). I'm really looking forward to the full feature-length movie! If it's anything like this trailer, it'll be a laugh-fest blast, and if it's written by RPoshard, it'll be an instant hit. Thanks for this preview!»
