I know what you mean. However, I wanted to completely remake Death's Door as I left the original open for the conclusion. I've learn't so much since I did the original nearly 2 years ago, but I couldn't conclude it using the fx I have today without showing them in the 1st part. Part one will be finished for Thursday, and I'm doing the concluding part after that. This is my slate:
1) Death's Door
2) Death's Door - conclusion
3) Christmas short film
4) Klunk (2012) which will require a huge cast of VO's. I have interest for Klunk by a reputable DVD distributor. By interest, what I mean is... They like the whole concept and would like to view the finished article with regards to releasing it on DVD. It all depends how it comes out, so I'll be looking for really good quality VO's next year. It's a project that I don't wanna rush, just for the sake of going for gold on DVD. Last year I was prepping Death's Door, and the conclusion, for this year, along with my Christmas Short. This year I've tested the water with the Klunk trailer, and it's has been a success in terms of interest. Klunk is def' the way forward. I'll be prepping for it, in or around, November time. (My Xmas short will be finished by then. )
I'll have contracts for Klunk where everyone who takes part will get a percentage of takings, should it go the distance. The animation will be the highest quality I can do in order to give it its best shot, so it will take a while.
«Another teaser, another trailer, another eye candy extravaganza.
I'd be more inclined to anticipate something "Dean P Wells Presents" if he'd ever presented anything other than teasers, trailers and eye candy.
Don't get me wrong, I'm looking forward to Klunk (and this), but you really need to dial back on the Andrew Kramer clone stuff.»
