Description:
Ivan is surrounded by forces of the Palm. They came from nowhere. Are there more in hiding? What does that mean for Drive By, his away team and drop ship Defiant?
«Very cool. Fantastic use of mods, special effects, VO, and music. This was fun to watch. »
«Some great moments in there. Looks like you put some work into it...»
«Some nice sfx Ivan.
I also noticed your doing a lot of the va's I'm sure other va's would help you if you put up a cast call on the forums.
i thought the battle scenes where a little long the story was good your series is getting better and better.
I'll be watching for the next one.

«Hmm, I'll admit I didn't watch this all the way through.
The tiny screen size put me off totally. Sorry.»

«Hey Ivan
You get better with every production. I liked the effects. The blast from the drop ship and the gun fire were particularly done well. Your sound effects also have improved. Awesome job as usual. »
«Great work Ivan, some really outstanding sequences.»

The one thing which really seemed to distract me was the use of in-game sound effects, such as the dying screams and crying sounds. Perhaps it wouldn't be the case if I hadn't been using the Movies for so long but it just really distracts me when I hear it in films. Bear in mind your actors will usually gladly scream or cry for you, and I find it best to add sounds in an outside editor anyway, as you have much more control over it.
Overall though, this was another great episode with plenty of action and drama which I really enjoyed. Great work Ivan, will be looking out for the next one

Good episode Ivan. I love the way you use mechs in this series, makes it so different from anything else on TMU. Your effect work was exceptional throughout, very well done. I also enjoyed the VO performances, although at times I felt there needed to be a little more feeling from the characters. Overall though very good. Your use of mods and greenscreening is always a big plus and this episode was no exception. Loved the music as always, has a very nice epic feel to it. Sound design was generally very good and camerawork was nice.
Ok, people have mentioned in past episodes.. I think occasionally you can remain on a shot for a little too long, especially in long sequences of dialogue. Try to vary the shots a little, keep the viewer entertained. Not a massive problem though. Also, I felt at the end the mech battle either went on a bit too long or was slightly repetitive. I know it's hard to make it non-repetitive when you only have the 3rd person camera to work with but it just seemed to lose a bit of momentum there in my opinion. Again though, it's not a big complaint.»
