«I don't get the story at all. I see two different werewolves. I see story that abruptly changes direction. The good thing is the camera work but I think you abused slow motion at the beginning a bit. 3 stars.»
«A lot of abrupt weirdness. Like when he decides he's done helping the lassy. And then the idea of getting back to his book after the lassy takes off in his car. Transitions were a bit of mess as well like when the baddy shows up and we get unseen screams which are followed by the protagonist escaping the cabin (in general avoid the use of fades unless you want to portray the passing of time). And speaking of the cabin, loved the intro shaky cam approach to the cabin which looked a lot like something from Evil Dead 2.
I was unclear if the beast was actually his dog. The writing kind of hints at it but the visuals dont make this clear to me.
And wow was that Snowfender as the scream queen? That was quite some screaming.»
«Ok I'll start with critism because there is less of that then praise
towards the begining there is a point where you are panning the camera across a few times, it's so fast it's kinda gives the watcher vertigo as in it made me dizzy
the rifle changed, it was one rifle on the wall and the same when Bill first had it, then when he started shooting into the trees it was a different rifle.
lastly the credits are such a deep red it's VERY hard to read them.
Now praise, the story was fun, the effects visual and sound where very nice and well done brought the story to life. Snowfender did an INCREDIABLE performance, probly one of the better VO jobs I've heard in a while. The story was not drawn out and stayed to the point making it enjoyable to watch with out me constantly glancing at the clock.
all in all 5 stars very well done!»
«Pretty good movie you've got here. Not without its flaws of course but I still enjoyed it. The contrast did take advantage of the screen a few times. That "fag in a lesbian shower scene" line was a little out of place. And the whole situation with the woman stealing the car without its keys. But other than that, the voice-acting was great and the atmosphere was very chilling throughout. That red-eyes-in-the-darkness effect worked very nicely and the shaky cam bits worked great. So, overall good job on this one Fox! »
