«This is my favourite psychological movie ever on TMO and TMU (a tie with "High School Girls", though this one has better visual, the former has a kick-ass soundtrack). The movie is a balance between being slightly disturbing yet strangley romantic for me. 5 stars.»
Dark Obsession Part A
«What happens when a lonely female office worker gets watched from across the street by a pervert? And what happens if she notices?
I'll tell you what happens - unmissable machinima.
A simply brilliant film, so much so that I'll not give away too much here.
Daring in the extreme, the acting is absolutely terrific by the leads, and there's not a weak link in the support either.
Sound design and camerawork are great - you will be sucked into this story from the very first shot of the heroine's office.
Each of the environments is beautifully conveyed by sound design - I dare anyone to watch the nightclub scene, close their eyes and not believe they're in a night club.
An astounding film.
It won my 19th Prufrock for Outstanding Cinema award.
This is the best film of its genre I've seen in machinima so far (the genre being psychological romantic drama).»
«The best part about this film is the honesty, the truthful feelings of the subject. I haven't seen another movie that is so completely open with emotions as the centerpiece.
Ive seen this movie four times and I am still shocked how professional and thrilling it is.
I cant say more than wow.
«This was such an amazing film. I love how it was told, you managed to capture every emotion in a very special way. I got really drawn into the story, I just couldn't stop watching it. It is interesting in the scence that this is something that happens often, and that you could go crazy when you are getting more involved with it. I loved the voice-overs so much, they really got me more involved with the story. And this is really a dark obsession.
«Excellent film. The dark and disturbing tone of the film is so well executed. The relationships between the characters, is so unique and the performances are amazing. You can see the great the attention to detail in the well placed overlays, soundboard, and camera angles.
Truly a great, disturbing film.»
«This film still creeps me out, and that's a very good thing. Oh, look, it's me stalking Sisch... AnotherNewBiopic? In spite of this film and "Nothing", I adore you, dolly. Always a pleasure working with you and for you. Now, is this the part where I kneel? I always forget... »
