«It's not often that I watch a machinima film and am awestruck by the visual qualities to the point that it doesn't seem like machinima at all, but something else entirely. But that's exactly what happened with Arbalete, which sports one of the most unique visual styles I've ever seen. The silhouettes are absolutely gorgeous, and your color palette is so confident and so striking, that I just wanted to keep watching and keep watching and not stop. If you were trying to emulate the comic book style, you really done that well; there are many bold contrasts and ambiguities that are just totally thrilling to watch and feel. Those moon shots shrouded in red are especially beautiful, and that hypnotist segment was perfectly executed. I could barely tell that this was made with the movies, everything is so superbly designed. The narration is great as well, it really sticks in my head. Overall, this is a triumph in style, an incredible work of art, and if another installment comes along, well, I'm so watching it. Great job!»
