«Very original, although the audio is a bit hard to hear at times, but very original.»
This was a good story largely ruined by dismal VO sound quality, a touch of sound synch bugginess and cheap shortcuts in the dialogue whereby potentially interesting conversations had a subtitle instead outlining what they had just talked about.
The acting, if you could hear it, sounded like it might be pretty good though. But the words were always much too quiet to the point of being inaudible on some occasions.
Good premise, just needed much better execution.»
«Great story concept--loved it. The hardest part for me is to think of a good story, and you seem to have that taken care of. The rest is just refining your filmmaking techniques. Like the previous reviewers mentioned you can improve the quality of the voice overs by avoiding the air hits/harsh consonant pops. One suggestion is to elevate the microphone so it's above the nose of the people speaking--this way they won't breathe into it while doing their lines. You can better improve it by amplifying all the lines so they are all the same volume (Audacity is a free sound program you can download which is perfect for the task). I hope this is helpful for your next filmmaking endeavor. »
