Underpants Away! -2- A Land Down Under(pants)
«What a production! 1st, that was some serious scriptwriting, great work on that. What an entertaining way to start the day. The whole production ran like clockwork, a long runtime felt like a couple of minutes. If anything, try to disguise the different mic quality between actors by adding noise to the scene, or to the hi-quality recordings... or get some actors to buy better mics.
The mods were topnotch, and the heads were quite effective! I liked the transitions to skeletons, with the heads dropping to the ground the best, in terms of FX.
The music was placed well too, it was there but played the role a soundtrack should, I think; but the acting, the Acting was superb, my hat's off to your talented cast.
I wish I'd seen this series sooner, now I'll have to go lookup the 1st one. cheers»
«At the risk of appearing lazy I'd like to quote my post on the TMUnderground blog concerning the showing of this movie at the Second Life TMU Movie Night event:
Checking in at just less than 20 minutes the film is another UPM laughfest that contains some incredible special effects. Biggstrek continually produces movies that push the technical capabilities of The Movies software beyond their intended limits. Not to be overlooked are his fine directing skills and there is a femme fatale entrance sequence that should be the envy of any Machinima director. Did I mention he also composes some of his own music? The voice actors were stellar (present company excluded - editor's note: I'd strongly disagree with that exclusion!) but my favorite performances were delivered by the 3 female leads; JetCityWoman (Mrs Biggsstrek), Sisch and Azuresama (who should be contacting the producers of the Wallace and Gromit films and auditioning for a part).
«Another complete success! Classic underpants man humour in a plot that continues to deepen... Some wonderful new characters played excelently by the cast.
The camera work you used was spot on! some brilliant riginal shots. I especially like the background humour - like those heads making out at the end lol
«I love this series and its cast and characters. Some very well written, cheeky comedy here Biggs. Awesome use of mods. Great setdressing too. The editing was top-shelf as well as the terrific camerawork. All in all a great spoof on the beloved super hero genre. And your right, holding yer grog is a great gauge of a man...»
«I gotta say, the hips movement is very infectious, in a disturbing kind of way. Liked your use of subtitles and funky music not to mention some cool trailing cam footage.
The dialogue was hilarious (Double Strength anyone?) and you managed to mesh everything well together as usual.
What truly shines, like all other installments are the character conflicts, which are a real joy to watch. All VA's did a terrific job and collectively, there was alot of dynamics and variations with accents. I also liked your integrated use of outside editting to give this a neat and polished feel with some cool special effects.
This is perhaps the only TMU flick that has the most crotch coverage and for that, you definetly have originality lol.
All in all, this was yet another great installment and I hope we don't have to wait too long for the next one. Until then....
Nuke Well in your Pants (..... yuck) , actually let's do that again...
Until the next time, Nuke Well for UPM (TRIPLE STRENGTH)»
«Just as brilliant 4th time round... top quality pants again... you can't even see the stitching...
Really well shot, great editing, top drawer VOs... one last thing to say...
(PS Am I the only one who went funny when Sisch's character walked in? And that must be the first time Kwis has been bleeped )»
