«this was good what did u make it with»
Galaxy at War
«Entertaining: Yes. Perfect: No.
This had a lot going for it, but it equally lacked polish. As has been said, the dialogue was a bit flat and didn't often feel like a real conversation. Some sound quality issues as well. Your aliens all sounded alike (I know, I know).
The static backdrop you used... didn't quite work for my liking. You need to make up a 3D star field (and then I want to steal it!) to make it look more "real".
The potential is there, you just need to work on those little details to make it brilliant.»
«This is the first "action" based SciFi iClone production I've seen. From everything I've witnessed it is apparent the software seemingly has endless capabilities but also a steep learning curve. I have to give you kudos for challenging yourself and working with this engine. While this piece exhibited some flaws and may not have been as polished as some TM productions I enjoyed the story and seeing something made with iClone. I expect we will see some great work from you in the future as you learn the software. »
«I'll probably get booed and hissed at. But this didn't wow me, and I don't think this was your best piece of work. Aside from the very poorly textured settings, uniforms, ships and consoles (mainly the console), the characters had no life about them. It was like they had rehursed a hundred times and they felt flat and uninpiring.
The editing could be sharper where we see the admiral facing one way, then there is a jot and he's facing the other way. And the briefing on the hammerhean ship went longer than the dialogue or scene needed. Sould quality could be better for engine sound and the fluidity of movement of spaceships could be sped up.
Alot of this sort of stuff is comon place on 'The Movies' movies, but with the limitiations you would expect that. But with a purpose built piece of software you expect a much higher standard.
The script also seemed rather awkward and pedestrian with numeruous repitions, like when the gore dude is talking with his overlord and he's saying m'lord every few words. And the military dialogue on the ships and between the captain and the admiral gave me a few grey hairs.
You got all the pieces in place, now to polish the pieces. And for god's sake chris, take your time.... there is no freakin need to rush one after another out.»
«Great visuals and action scenes.I liked the choreography between all of the ships.
To my ears the aliens voices were pitched down a bit to far, making them feel less expressive than they could have been. A few softer music transitions would be great to mesh in there as well on some of the non action ship scenes.
A good Iclone first, I'll be watching for the next!»
«Where was Julie!!!????

Don't forget to salt the movie with music, especialy during the battle scenes. the colours look vibrant and James is about as good looking as me! Great job, Chris!...and good job to all those who joined in the fun! Chris..... super!
