«Beautiful work here. The visuals were amazing.»
«Very visually appealing. The music set the mood extremely well. Some of the story escapes me but I liked it. Films without dialog can go many different ways. Although I am sure that if there had been some dialog there, I would understand it better, I like the idea of no dialog to try to convey the message.»
«Congrats on producing yet another iClone masterwork Biggs. I admire that you committed to a dialogue free story and executed it flawlessly. Your choices of music were superb and really helped drive the story and set the tone. The asteroid belt was well set and animated beautifully. I really loved all the extra flourishes you added to this piece. The holograph ship interface/GUI was a stroke of genius in terms of being both scifi appropriate and visually pleasing to the viewer to understand the actions of the characters with the ship as opposed to cutting to shots of the control panel. Another thing I liked was the reflection shot in the excavator's helmet in the tunnel. I'm not even sure the reflection is a standard iClone capability (not so in Moviestorm) but it was a nice shot nonetheless. There are a few other things I'll refrain from calling out to avoid spoilers but I will reiterate that this is one fine piece of work and succeeds in both it's execution and visual appeal. »
One of the best machinima movies I've seen in a long, long time.
This was like watching ballet in space...the attention to detail in all aspects was superb.
Thank you for reminding us all that the art of machinima is far from dying and that with inspiring genius like this to guide us, it has in fact just begun.»
«I've been curious to see this since first mentioned.
That was marvelous, Biggsy. Just marvelous. Clever, intelligent film making. A story told visually and with brilliant clarity. Exciting, absorbing, intriguing, with an ending that was very emotive.
Niggles? I'd have loved to see the initial encounter shot a smidge more suspensefully. Perhaps a lessening of the silent-esque mannerisms, but lordy, I'm talking about non-problems.
An easy 5 out of 5!
«Another incredible and meticulously crafted film. Being a fellow Lovecraft affection ado, this reminds me of the ending of "the call of Cthulhu" but set in space! You even did this as a silent movie, just like "the call of Cthulhu". I don't know if the similarities are deliberate, unconscious, or nonexistent Great concept with great execution, Biggs. My only complaint is that you crank out these masterpieces too slowly. Give us more, and give us more faster! For now, I guess I'll just watch this a couple more dozen times just like your previous masterworks.»
«After watching this again I forgot to add your video reminds of one of the greatest sci-fi silent films called 'A Trip to the Moon'. Although filmed in 1902 by French director Georges Méliès, your video is reminiscent of that particular genre, but with a precursor of an exciting technological milestone. Thanks for sharing.»
«This got my blood bubbling about and got me excited about moviemaking. That hand reaching out and grabbing was brilliant. A whole lotta cool effects and things that I couldn't figure out how you pulled them off. Really really polished and well done. The music and lack of dialog worked very well in building the tension. Loved it!»
